Miranda Hart (sometimes referred to as Miranda) is an English actor, comedian, and writer. Best known for her performance in the self-titled semi-autobiographical sitcom Miranda which she is also credited with writing she is truly a class apart in the English comedy scenario which is predominantly male-oriented. It was described as a sitcom of the past the show was loved by all ages due to its clean family-oriented content. The show also brought Hart a myriad of honors and awards. Hart is a member of an aristocratic family. Her ancestors include Earls, barons, marquesses and dukes. Hart however does not consider herself as upper-class and is without airs. As a teenager, she chose to follow a career as an actor following her upbringing in Hampshire. Confident and talented she embarked on a career in comedy although it would take a few years before she became famous.
