Kristen Anne Bell is an American actress and performer born in 1980. Bell is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native who was born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). She is the daughter of a Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen discovered her talents in entertainment from a young age. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell had an agent appointed by her mother at the age of 13 and was subsequently cast as a model in newspapers and television commercials. Also, Bell began taking acting lessons privately. Bell made an appearance as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School, where she took part in musical and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the role of the lead Dorothy part. After graduation Bell relocated to New York City to attend the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts in which she learned about musical theatre. Bell graduated from her college in 2001 after she was cast in the role Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. It was also in 2001 that Bell's first appearance in a film that was credited to her, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene has been cut out and the credits only display her. Bell made an appearance on Broadway on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival with Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
